Baumer Inspection invests in its future and extends the existing company building by a further 1.000qm, air-conditioned offices, production area and commissioning hall.
2007 - Change of name from MASSEN machine vision system GmbH
After Baumer Beteiligungs-GmbH had already invested in MASSEN in 1996 and the shares were taken over by Prof. Dr. Massen in 2005, the company was renamed Baumer Inspection GmbH in 2007.
2002 - Market entry into the woodworking industry
A major milestone - With the surface inspection of laminate floorboards, the entry into the woodworking industry began.

1988 - Foundation of the EyeTech GmbH
EyeTech GmbH was founded with two products, the VideoSpeedMaster for contactless length and speed measurement with international patent and the DeltaMaster for contactless thickness measurement.
1984 - Foundation of the Steinbeis Transfer Center for Image Processing
Founded by Prof. Dr. Ing. Robert Massen with customer-specific developments of image processing systems for industry at the University of Applied Sciences Constance.
